What is PEMF therapy

PEMF stands for Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field. Devices that utilize  PEMF technology emit electromagnetic waves at different frequencies in order to stimulate an encourage your body’s natural recovery processes. Therefore, PEMF therapy is the application of pulsed electro magnetic fields to the entire body and targeted areas of tissue

How does it work?

The devices that utilize PEMF improve circulation thereby supporting the body’s natural self-regulating processes. Toxins are expelled, and fresh minerals, nutrients, and water enter the cell, stimulating optimal function. When our body’s cells, tissues, and organs are adequately nourished and metabolic waste products are removed, our bodies are able to maintain a healthy balance and function properly.

By introducing a mild electromagnetic current to damaged cells, PEMF therapy slows or stops the release of pain and inflammation mediators, increases blood flow of the cells,  and reestablishes normal cell interaction. With reduced inflammation, pain decreases, energy increases, and faster tissue healing  occurs.

What are the specific benefits of PEMF?

PEMF therapy does not treat medical conditions; instead it up-regulates the body’s own ability to heal itself naturally by replenishing the natural charge that exists in healthy cells. When your body is healthy you sleep better, experience more energy, and are less likely to experience pain and inflammation.

Improvements may be seen in the following:

  • Bones, Joint, Muscles: arthritis, sprains, bursitis, osteoporosis, post-surgical wound healing, and jaw/tooth disease
  • Skin and Connective Tissue: Diabetic ulcers, radiation and thermal burns, surgical incisions, muscle firming, reduction of wrinkles
  • Organs: Heart, lungs, liver, kidney, prostate, uterus, etc.
  • Brain: Memory, concentration, depression, Parkinson’s, ADHD, and mental focus
